While there are no guarantees in life, we know enough about the benefits of physical activity to recommend, unequivocally, that exercise is the most important health promoting behavior one can choose. The American College of Sports Medicine guidelines include 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise, 5 days per week. Brisk walking can be done anywhere, and works as well as anything else. Find a way to make it work! It will change your life.
